Have you tried to grow food before and been frustrated with the task?

I had visions of homemade salsa dancing in my head, but of the three tomatoes on the plant, not a single one ripened. And only three tomatoes!?

Fortunately, I didn’t give up and now I love growing tomatoes!

    1. We have pretty hot summers, too. Maybe your best growing season is fall/winter? I am able to grow some veggies year round here in Georgia. It’s just a matter of choosing the right things to grow. Shoot me an email if you want to discuss more. 🙂 I look forward to hearing how it goes this year!

      1. Hi Laura! I’m in South GA & yep, it gets HOT. Other than tomatoes & eggplant & okra, how do you keep your yellow squash going? We have little luck with them. Blossom rot. Maybe getting them off the ground? Thanks! I signed up & sure I will enjoy!

        1. Oh major bummer! I would consider getting the squash going earlier in the season, and make sure you can water them at the base so the leaves don’t retain moisture. Do you have a lot of pollinators? Maybe you’ll need to hand-pollinate them. Thanks for reading!

  2. I’m so excited to read your book and learn more about you. Hi I’m Valerie and I’m a farmer in Oklahoma. We grow veggies and flowers. I’m always looking for more ideas. Some things we’ve never been able to grow.
